Housing Protection Department

The City of Inglewood Housing Protection Department was
established in May of 2020, and is responsible for monitoring
and enforcing the City’s rent regulations and just cause eviction
protections. The Department’s initial launch date for the program
begins on October 1, 2021, with registration commencing in
January 2022. The Inglewood City Council has waived the fee
for all residential units registered between January 7, 2022
through March 31, 2022.
The City Council created the Department to assist its residents,
both landlords and tenants, and we are here to help!! For
any resident who has questions or concerns regarding rent
increases and eviction procedures and protections, you are urged

Sally, a 2 year-old Pit Bull mix was adopted
from the spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption
Center! She has been with spcaLA for 10
months. 6 months of that time she spent in
quarantine. Sally came to spcaLA with a
bite wound from an unknown animal. Since
Grigio is a cute male 4 month old gray and
white kitten who has been neutered and is
ready to go home today. He came to spcaLA
as a single, lost kitten. He’s happy to spend

Klondike is a gentle, smart, and classy
2 year old Husky mix fella. He is easy to
leash and walk, and is mastering basic obedience.

there was no information about her wound,
the law requires a quarantine. During that
time, the staff cared for Sally, keeping her
happy, healthy and engaged until she was
ready for her forever home. She will join her
