Page 8 November 23, 2017 Purrrfect Companions Vivian Chloe Saving one animal may not change the world, but it will change the world for that animal. Share your love this Thanksgiving by adopting one of these wonderful kitties. Vivian is a joyful, gentle, little cat who readily warms up to people. She likes interaction and is also content just to sit near you as you read, watch TV, or spend time on the Internet. Vivian has a small voice and a big heart. She amuses herself with toys and comes running when her name is called. She can become friends with other cats who give her a chance. Like many rescue cats, Vivian is grateful to have a foster home and loves exploring the sofa pillows and other adventures of indoor living. What this darling group of kittens--Grant, Audrey, Chloe  and Bridgette--would love the most is to have their own special families. It would be wonderful if each of them could be adopted with one of their foster siblings… Grant (photo not shown) is a happy-golucky kitty. Nothing really bothers him and he is bothered by nothing. Grant loves lounging on the couch and watching TV with his special person, but he also loves to have fun. He is very mellow and his foster mommy calls him a surfer dude. This laid-back boy is great with other cats, dogs and people. Although Bridgette (photo not shown) is a bit on the shy end, she is a complete cuddle machine. She loves being treated like a princess and getting the attention all for herself. It’s rightfully so since she is so pretty. Bridgette loves other cats and can also tolerate dogs. Audrey was found living in a dumpster where her biological mom gave birth to her. She had a bit of a rough start and was fortunate enough to be rescued. Audrey is fun-loving, affectionate and a cuddle bug who loves being a lap kitty. She has irresistible charm and is ready to make Jill Bandit watch TV with you. She is the smallest of the bunch, but loves to chase her bigger siblings to  show them size does not matter. Jill and Jody currently live with both big and small dogs as well as cats and get along with all of them. They are very bonded to each other and would do best if they were adopted together. Cappy with his sweet, tough-guy face is the “captain in charge.” Although he has had a rough-and-tumble life, you would never know it from his personality. He is just a big, loving, extremely easygoing kitty and a great couch potato companion. After an exhausting evening of watching TV, this handsome orange and white fellow will head-butt you and then sleep quietly at the foot of the bed. He loves to have his fur brushed and will roll over to show you his pure joy (and his cute tummy). Cappy is a low-maintenance kitty--not one of those hyperactive youngsters. He is an adult cat, but has many years to give companionship and love to some lucky person. Cappy does like to be king of the castle, so he can be an only cat or he could go to a home with a non-alpha, gentle resident kitty. He is also dog-friendly! Cappy has tested positive for FIV. Cats with FIV+ often gets passed over because people feel worried about the diagnosis. However, given proper care and attention, an FIV+ cat will live the same lifespan as an FIV negative cat. FIV is extremely hard to transmit from cat to cat and it requires direct blood contact (typically from a deep puncture wound) and is not transmissible to humans. Cappy has spent too many years looking for a loving home. If you can offer this sweet deserving boy some love and attention, please com meet him! biscuits and love on you. Friendly with other cats and dogs, Audrey is ready to be a part of your family. Chloe is a bit shy at first, but has a huge heart for loving. Once out of her shell, she is all about having fun and loving on you. Choe loves playing with her foster siblings and absolutely loves feather and wand toys. She is good with other cats, dogs and humans alike. Cashmere (photo not shown) is a handsome boy with the playfulness and energy of a kitten. He is looking for a forever home that will shower him with love, attention and affection. He loves treats, especially when his foster mom shares some juicy morsels of chicken with him or gives him a few pieces of tuna. Cashmere also loves to play with cat toys--batting toy mice in the air, tossing balls across the room and zooming across the floor to catch them. Napping in the cat tree beside the window and basking in the sun are also two of his favorite pastimes. Cashmere has never been around other cats, so he would do best in a single-cat household. He did grow up around a dog and may adjust to another cat-friendly dog. Jody is a friendly, fun loving guy.  Full of spunk, he loves to scamper around, play with toys and his sibling--and is always looking to see who’s game for some fun. Jody also enjoys perching on the top of the kitty condo, hanging over it while he waits for someone to play “king of the mountain” with him. Because young cats like him do so much better with a buddy, he should be adopted with his sister, Jill, whom he adores and has not been separated from since they were born. Jill is a spunky little girl…a great combination of playful, snuggly and mischievous. She will be scampering around with her brothers one minute and then will curl up on your lap to Audrey Jody Cappy Koi Be kind. Save a life, Support animal rescue. Bandit is adorable and extremely photogenic. He loves to play with all types of toys including feathers, which he will drag around. Bandit has the cutest meow, which he will display when you pet him. This affectionate boy enjoys watching you, as he thinks humans are fascinating, and he will lay on top of your feet just to be close to you. Bandit needs a home with other kitties, as he loves to play with them. Koi is a gorgeous ginger and white tabby with the most beautiful marble pattern on his sides. He is very playful and can be a little reserved, but doesn’t mind being picked up, cuddled and kissed. Koi is very bonded to his siblings. With his high energy and love of wrestling, he must be adopted with one of them. You can watch Koi and his siblings 24/7 on their “LIVE Kitten Cam” at www.KittenCuddleRoom.com These kitties are available for adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest cat rescue groups in Southern California. All our kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and current on their vaccinations.
