TORRANCE TRIBUNE April 2, 2015 Page 7 Warm Kale Salad Ingredients • 2 tablespoon olive oil • ¼ cup chopped green onions • ½ pound chopped kale • 1 large tomato diced • ½ cup garbanzo beans • ½ cup diced beets • ½ cup diced cucumber • ½ cup seasoned rice vinegar • salt and pepper to taste Preparation and how to bang them by Chef S hafer pring has sprung! It’s time to eat a little lighter. This is a great way to get a vitamin rich but flavor filled entree. S The Chef 1. In a large pre-heated fry pan brown off the green onions in the olive oil. 2. Add the tomatoes and kale warm slightly. 3. Add the remaining ingredients and toss together in a large salad bowl and serve. This salad can be topped with seafood chicken other veggies and cheese.
