Dr. Daniel Richardson:
Kiwanis Good Citizen Award
Dr. Daniel Richardson was standing on the
balcony of his residence overlooking the street
when he observed an unknown male spray
painting a city bus bench. Richardson then
watched the man walk away carrying two cans
of spray paint and enter a vehicle. Believing
the suspect to be vandalizing city property,
he called the police and provided them
with a description of the suspect and
his vehicle. Officers located the man,
who admitted to spray-painting the bus
bench. Richardson’s quick action led to the
arrest of a vandalism suspect.
