Curtis
lap cat. He prefers to be the only male cat
in the family, but he gets along with female
cats. Or Curtis could be happy as your only
cat. This big handsome gentle boy just needs
someone to love him.
These cats and kittens are available for
adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the
largest cat rescue groups in Southern California.
All our kitties are spayed/neutered,
microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV,
dewormed and current on their vaccinations.

Saving one animal won’t change the world,

animal. •
Purrrfect Companions
Every second of every minute of every day,
a helpless animal is put to death just because
no one was there to take them home. Give
them second chance for love when you adopt
one of these precious kitties. You can also
check out their friends on our website – www.

Rescued from the city shelter with his
siblings as bottle babies, Tippy Tail is an
adventurous, boisterous, leader of his litter.
As the biggest kitten, he has always been the
first one to explore, the first to try something
new, and the first to claim a toy. Tippy is
hilarious with toys, growling over them and
carrying them around the house. He will purr
like crazy when pet and loves to sleeps on the
bed with you. Tippy Tail is an independent
boy, yet he gets along great with other kitties.
He would love a feline buddy in his home
and can be adopted with any of his siblings
or foster friends. This fun-loving guy has a
very sweet personality and would be a great
addition to any family.
Jamie is a sweet and playful kitten. He loves
chasing toys and wrestling with other kittens.
While not a lap cat, he does enjoy curling up
next to you on the couch and sleeping next to
you at night. Jamie has plenty of kitten energy
and would be very happy having another cat
of equal energy to play with.
From the moment he arrived at his foster
home, Bernie has not stopped purring. This
happy-go-lucky purr-monster is a playful
explorer who is equally at home energetically
chasing a feather toy and relaxing in your arms.
Despite his boundless energy, Bernie is very
calm and gentle with his human friends and
loves to be cradled in their arms. While he
hasn’t been around children, his foster parents
think he’d be a great addition to any home,
from families to working professionals. Like
all kittens, he’ll need a buddy to play with
while you’re away, but he’s great at keeping
himself happy and entertained. Named for the
lyricist Bernie Taupin, he’d love the chance to
be adopted with his brothers (fellow rocket-cats
and tiny dancers) Elton and Taron.
If Kahn had an online dating profile, it
would describe this handsome devil as “loves
food and long conversations.” Kahn will start
talking as soon as he sees you enter the room,

and he’ll keep up a steady conversation with
you until you lavish affection on him – affection
which he is always happy to receive.
Kahn loves pets and snuggles almost as much
as he loves food. This gentle boy isn’t super
high-energy (he loves to sleep at the top of a
cat tree), and he will co-exist with other cats.
What Kahn wants the most is an attentive
human, or humans, who will love and treat
him like a beloved king
Motley is a gorgeous kitty with pretty
white slippers on her front feet. This stunning
girl was returned to Kitten Rescue because
her former adopter was moving to Mexico.
Though she is a little overwhelmed being at
our sanctuary, she enjoys attention and getting
pets. Motley comes out of her enclosure at
night and enjoys hanging out with Isabel and
Salty Joe. This girl is comfortable with both
people and other kitties. She waiting to share
a comfy couch with you in her new home.
Curtis is a strikingly handsome Russian
Blue mix with plush smoky grey fur that
shimmers and stunning green eyes. He is
a big fellow, 14 pounds of muscle. Curtis
was dumped at the shelter when his family
decided to have a baby. What a shame! This
fellow enjoys exploring closets and sitting
in the cat tree watching the world go by. He
loves affection and might up for being your

Our darling little Toffee (featured last week)
has been adopted! With a new home came
a new name and Toffee is now Peyton. He
joined two other kitties previously adopted
from Kitten Rescue, both orange. It was
instant love between Toffee and his new
brother, five-year-old Oliver. His new family
reported back the first morning that the
three “orangesicles” were happily sharing
breakfast together.
When you adopt a “pet without a partner”,
you will forever make a difference in their
life and they are sure to make a difference
in yours. •
Congratulations to Peyton and his new family!
