opening for 1 Tax Manager. Duties
include the following: Responsibilities
include: Supervises 3 subordinates;
1 tax accountant and 2 senior tax
preparers. Coordinates directly with
Senior Manager and handles high
level complex tax returns. Provides
tax expertise and assistance to clients
and employees on an assigned
basis. Responds to client requests
on tax related matters. Prepares
income tax returns for individuals,
partnerships, corporations and
other entities as needed. Reviews
tax returns prepared by other staff.
Assists clients with tax planning.
Properly maintains records to support
the returns filed. Communicates
with clients to gather information
for the preparation of income tax
records. Performs tax research as
needed and as assigned to assist
in tax planning and tax compliance
for clients. Maintains confidentiality
of client information. Stays current
with developments in the tax
compliance industry; understands
and responds to client concerns
pertaining to prepared income tax
returns; uses internal procedures to
provide client high quality services.
Has a thorough knowledge and
understanding of tax law and
practical application of tax law as
typically used in the performance
of income tax compliance and
income tax planning engagements
for individuals and businesses.
Knowledge of various computer
programs for tax return preparation,
record keeping, and communication.
Minimum requirements: Bachelors
degree. Five years progressive
experience with job duties
