Police Reports
Thursday, October 26
A property report was taken at 1137 hours
from the 300 block of Main Street. A firearm
was turned in for destruction.
A stolen license plate(s) report was taken at
1234 hours from the 200 block of West Grand
Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) removed the front
license plate from the victim’s vehicle.
A burglary (residential) report was taken at
1827 hours from the 100 block of Eucalyptus
Drive. Unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s
backyard and attempted to gain entry into the
residence. A black Bluetooth speaker was taken
from the backyard.
Friday, October 27
A found property report was taken at 0407
hours from the 700 block of Center Street.
An HID keycard was found at the location.
An annoying/threatening phone call(s) report
was taken at 1136 hours from the 2200 block
of East Mariposa Avenue. Unknown suspect
made obscene phone calls to victim’s work
and personal cell phone.
One male adult was arrested at 1835 hours
from the 500 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard
for two outstanding Hawthorne PD
misdemeanor warrants and one outstanding

Band Students Attend Nov. 12
Free Concert, Get School Credits
South Bay Music Association and the El
Segundo Concert Band are known for their
free concerts entertaining our community with
delightful performances for all ages. You will
want to be in the El Segundo High School
Little Theater, 103 E. Mariposa Avenue, on
Sunday, November 12 at 3 p.m. to enjoy a
variety of musical selections as the talented
Chamber Ensembles from the Band play
in an intimate setting. Relax, have fun and
enjoy a very special concert as a “Simple
Gift” just for you. Students that take Band
in school are required to attend concerts for
credit towards their grade. This concert is not
only convenient, but is an economical way
to achieve their goals.
A registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation,
South Bay Music Association operates
or provides funding for the El Segundo High
School Band, El Segundo Middle School
percussion, elementary school bands, Summer
Music Symposium Band Camp, in-school
music clinics, mentoring programs and
scholarships. Music Director and Conductor
Steven Allen Fox and Education Director Edie
Rice enrich these programs with their very
special talents and commitment to providing
every opportunity to keep the music playing.
Students that play musical instruments are
shown to be high achievers in school and
often display extraordinary self-discipline
and a greater appreciation for their education.
