Purrrfect Companions
Margaret Marlon
March is the purr-fect month to adopt your
new best friends. These little lambs may not
“roar like lions,” but they will surely purr
with joy when you give them a forever home.
Brothers Zane and Max are teddy bears.
They love snuggles and purr when you look
at them. They are also very smart and curious
explorers. With their outgoing, happy
and polite personalities, they are ready to
play any minute. If they hear a toy, they
will wake up out of a deep sleep and be
ready for action. But these brothers are also
mellow guys and love spending time with
people. Zane and Max are affectionate with
everyone. When men visit, they go right
over to greet and sit on their lap. Both are
a “guy’s guy.” They are very social cats
and would be great paired together or with
another friendly cat. They love dogs too, but
need the company of another friendly cat to
play with and meet their social needs. They
have been raised with friendly dogs and like
respectful kids too.
Margaret is a former bottle baby. Now
she’s still a baby, only without the bottle. She
loves to be cuddled and held. Rather than
jump onto your lap, Margaret will walk by
and tempt you to pick her up. Her fur is soft
and her stripes are petite. She is a beautiful
kitty with a pretty face. Margaret needs to
be adopted into a home with another cat or
kitten. If you don’t have a kitty companion
for her, then she will need to be adopted
with another kitten. She lives at our adoption
center with 10 other kittens including
her brothers Radar, Klinger and Frank. She
gets along well with all of them, so finding
her a friend will not be difficult.
Also a former bottle baby, Klinger is a sweet
and sensitive boy. He likes to be held, but he
forgets that he likes it and will push away at
first. He then will settle into your arms and
look up into your eyes. Once comfortable,
Klinger will give you his time and attention
for as long as you need. Klinger is adorably
cute. He needs to be adopted into a home
with another cat or kitten or can be adopted
with another kitten. This easygoing boy is
at our adoption center with his siblings and
other kittens who would all be good potential
kitty companions for him.
Sydney is a young, beautifully elegant,
steel-grey young cat with amazingly soft
fur. She is observant, calm and playful. She

prefers to come to you and sit near or above
you – not a lap cat… at least not yet. Sydney
will watch you as you move about and race
you to her favorite play spots to engage you
in play. Wand toys and strings are her favorite
and she is quite athletic. She currently loves
to play with her son and housemate, Marlon.
Although she is not shy, she needs a quiet
household where she can feel safe so she
can strut about contentedly.
Marlon is sleek and gorgeous with lamplike
yellow, green eyes and a silky black coat
accented with a patch of white on the chest.
Marlon is inquisitive, playful and so sweet.
He loves to chase wand toys, toy mice, ping
pong balls… and to cuddle. Marlon purrs
upon contact. He will even purr when you
just speak to him. He climbs up to be with
you on the bed or sofa and “makes muffins”
at your side. We like to call him Mellow
Marlon because he truly likes to chill. Marlon
needs a young companion cat with whom to
be active and play… and yes, cuddle. Currently,
he enjoys the company of his young
mama, Sydney. This boy is very special. He
will warm your heart with his heart-shaped
face and calm demeanor.
These kitties are available for adoption
through Kitten Rescue, one of the largest cat
rescue groups in Southern California. All our
kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped,
tested for FeLV and FIV, dewormed and
current on their vaccinations. For additional
