providing physical therapy and stimulation
to try to get him to sit, crawl or even walk.
Becoming friends with Cupid helped tremendously
with his physical therapy, so that one
day Mojo decided he was done with laying
around. Much to the surprise, shock and
delight of all of his caregivers, Mojo Jojo
started walking and even running … because
he can! He loves to snuggle, wrestle and play
with his BFF, Cupid. We would love to see
these two boys get adopted together as we
strongly believe that Cupid was a key factor
with Mojo’s recovery.
These cats and kittens are available for
adoption through Kitten Rescue, one of the
largest cat rescue groups in Southern California.
All our kitties are spayed/neutered,
microchipped, tested for FeLV and FIV,
dewormed and current on their vaccinations.

Our Adoption Center is temporarily closed.
In the meantime, we are still conducting

the foster parent or adoption counselor, and
you may reach out directly with questions
or to arrange a virtual meeting.

Purrrfect Companions
“What greater gift than the love of a
cat?”….Charles Dickens
Silly Aster is incredibly affectionate and
is not shy about showing his love towards
his foster mom. He loves wrestling with his
sibling Indigo, but once he spots his favorite
human, he runs over to her and sits on her
lap or perches on her shoulder. Aster loves
giving kisses and getting his tummy rubbed
too. He is an extremely high energy kitten
who loves playtime with his siblings. Due to
his young age and energy level, this adorable
kitty would love to be adopted with one of
his siblings. These siblings have truly bonded
and need to be adopted in pairs only.
Indigo is the observer of the group. He likes
to check out the scene first before pouncing
in on the action and causing chaos. Indigo
loves leaping high into the air for the feather
wand or chasing his siblings throughout the
house. This silly kitty with his very playful
personality will nibble on your toes to get
your attention for pets. Indigo is a curious
kitty who is still very much a mama’s boy to
boot. Due to his young age and energy level,
this adorable boy would love to be adopted
with one of his siblings or his mama.
Kiki is a stunning tuxedo lady with the
sleekest, softest, shiniest coat you have ever
seen. Her face is quite striking with a thin
white stripe down her nose, white whiskers
and chin, gorgeous green eyes, and a little
pink spot on her bottom lip. She is very
vocal girl. Her favorite pastimes are chasing
the laser toy red dot, getting head scritches,
climbing anything she can climb, and sitting
in the window watching the birds and
squirrels. Kiki is a sweet but shy girl who
will need a family that is willing to be patient
and give her the time she needs to feel
comfortable and safe.
Cupid was rescued on February 14th
(hence the name) and he has definitely lived
up to his name at our nursery in every way.
Cupid has not met a cat he does not like or
get along with. Whether it is a high energy
kitten, or one of our special needs Powerpuff
girls who cannot stand or walk, or any kitty
in between, Cupid befriends them. He gives
them what they need, whether it’s a play
session, a cuddle nap or nice bath. Cupid
loves humans too and is also sweet and affectionate
with his two-legged friends. His
BFF is Mojo Jojo, who has a mild form of
Cerebellar Hypoplasia. When Mojo Jojo first
arrived at the nursery, unable to walk, Cupid
decided he was going to become Mojo’s
emotional support animal. We believe it
was this very special therapy which Cupid
provided that helped with Mojo’s recovery.
This duo loves to play, wrestle and cuddle
together. We would love to see them find
their forever home together as we think they
are a purr-fect pairing.
Mojo Jojo is our miracle kitty! He was
rescued from the city shelter where he was
about to be euthanized. Mojo’s legs were
Kiki Indigo
completely stiff and he was unable to walk
at all; we quickly realized that he has a
condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. As
we have had a lot of experience in caring
for cats with this condition, we immediately
knew we had to rescue him. Cerebellar hypoplasia
(CH) is a neurological condition
where the brain does not develop properly;
it causes cats to be wobbly when they walk
and sometimes lose balance. In Mojo Jojo’s
case, his condition was extremely severe as
he was unable to walk at all. For the first
couple of weeks, we worked with Mojo
Aster

Alfie was one of the forty-four cats we pulled
from East Valley Shelter on Giving Tuesday
2020. He was sweet, but very shy and shut
down. Alfie went to a foster home and we just
got the exciting news that Alfie was adopted!
Alfie is now a happy, affectionate cat with
a loving home. And he looks so good! Thank
you to everyone who made this happen!

you will forever make a difference in their
life and they are sure to make a difference
in yours. •
